Celebrating Ten Years In Business
It is almost unbelievable that Vaddo, Inc is celebrating ten years in business. We have spent the last 5,256,000 minutes working tirelessly to exceed every goal we’ve set and to withstand all obstacles thrown in our path. As we walked into our office daily, we had one thing on our minds: to excel in all that we do. We have had the privilege to work with an amazing team of hardworking, resilient, and dedicated individuals throughout this journey. Some were with us for a short time, while others have stood by our side from day one. All of them have contributed to our continued success, and for that, we are grateful.
If we had to describe Vaddo, Inc in two words, it would be growth-centric and resilient. We knew that we wanted to help grow our people, our clients, and our business from the start. And we knew in order to do that, we had to be willing to withstand the common hurdles of business. We only promote from within, so whether we win or lose has always been in our hands. Luckily, we’re a diligent bunch, which has resulted in us going from a staff of five to one of 80 plus across five states. With eight locations opened and another on the way in the past ten years, we’ve taken the bull by its horn and walked out of the ring victorious.
It’s hard to compress ten years’ worth of feelings into a few words, but we’re going to try our best. Today, we want to highlight a few moments throughout our history, each of which has played a pivotal role in our company’s current strength.
Let’s start at the beginning. On August 15th, 2011, Vaddo, Inc opened its door for the first time. Texas-born and bred, we’ve spent our time in the Lone Star state building up our community and helping our people realize their full potential. We’ll never forget this first day. It’s the only time in our history when we weren’t competing against ourselves. Rest assured, on day two, we were working to be better than we were the day before! We all have to start somewhere, and this date will always live in infamy within our walls.
In 2017, Hurricane Harvey, a category 4, wrecked the state of Texas. Our home city of Houston was struggling. So, for a short time, we relocated to Austin. Although a trying period, it instilled a strength that we never knew we needed, one that would be beneficial in March of 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down most of the United States. Each time we’ve faced an obstacle outside of our control, we stood tall, came together, and adapted. We’re proud of who we are and all that we’ve withstood.
Each of these moments brings back thoughts of doubt and stress, but along with those are also our best memories of camaraderie, teamwork, and innovation. We believe that these three traits are responsible for many of the accolades we’ve accrued over the years, including being a recipient of the Best and Brightest Companies to Work for the award for eight years running. While the recognition isn’t necessary, it feels great to know that our efforts are nationally known! Our people work hard and deserve the spotlight.
We still can’t believe that we’ve reached ten years. It really does feel like we were just opening our doors, standing on the precipice of success. We’re thankful for the time we’ve been given and are dedicated to making the next ten years one of growth and prosperity!
